Last updated 3 October 2026. This policy covers the Horse Truth website, portal, API, MCP server and Horse Truth apps or plugins used inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT.
Horse Truth collects account information required to provide subscription access, billing access and customer support.
Payments are processed through Stripe. Horse Truth does not store full card details.
Portal activity may be logged for security, subscription access control and service improvement.
If you follow a horse, Horse Truth keeps your email address, the horses you follow, and a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to, when, the page, and a scrambled version of your internet address). We use it only to email you when Horse Truth's view of those horses changes and for occasional Horse Truth updates. We never sell or share your email. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe that works without logging in, and we stop emailing you straight away.
When an AI assistant, agent or developer calls Horse Truth (for example through our ChatGPT plugin, MCP server or API), we receive the tool or endpoint being called, the inputs sent to it (such as a horse name), and technical request details. We do not receive your AI chat history, your AI account details, or your name or email unless you give them to us directly.
We store your internet address and browser or agent identifier only as a one-way scrambled code, used to count usage, prevent abuse and improve the service. We do not use this data for advertising and we never sell it.
If an agent pays per call with x402, the payment is a public blockchain transaction. We record the transaction reference, amount, network and a scrambled form of the paying wallet so we can deliver what was paid for and keep accurate records.
We use trusted providers to run Horse Truth: Railway (hosting, in the United States), Stripe (card payments), an x402 payment facilitator (machine payments) and Resend (email). They process data only to provide their service to us.
We keep request and usage records only as long as needed for security, accurate billing and improving the service. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires. Follow-alert data is deleted when you ask us to.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing the address below. Horse Truth is analytical information for adults and is not intended for anyone under 18.
